Review

This 2-CD set is effectively a reissue of the previously-available Stockholm To Philadelphia 2-CD set. Disc 1 is a powerful set recorded in February 1971 in Stockholm, and is a good representation of Island-era Mott The Hoople live, despite it being a somewhat subdued audience.

Disc 2 is the famous performance at the Tower Theatre, Philadelphia PA in November 1972. David Bowie introduced the show, and joined the band onstage for All The Young Dudes.

The package comes with new sleeve notes by Keith Smith of the Mott The Hoople Appreciation Society. Like Stockholm To Philadelphia, this is an essential purchase and if you can't get one they you should get the other. Of course, getting both would probably appeal only to the fanatical completist.
