Self published (www.krisgray.co.uk); ISBN 9798186265184

Kris Gray has worked in the music industry for nigh on fifty years. He has been a manager, booking agent, record label owner and more. In the mid to late nineties has ws Ian Hunter's manager, hence the relevance to this site.
He first became involved with Ian when he booked Ian's 1993 tour. He had been a fan since the 1970's, so he jumped at the chance when he was asked. He released Ian's 1997 album The Artful Dodger, and booked his two tours in that year, as well as Ian's 1999 and 2000 tours. In 1993 Ian's career was in a rut - he had no management, no publishing, no recording contract, so in many ways Kris was responsible for resurrecting Ian's career.
Things fell apart after that - read the book if you want to know the details - and you get a sense of the regret and disappointment at what happened even after all these years.
Most autobiographies are written chronologically, but this one is ordered by artist, so it is easy to find the section relating to his time with Ian.
Not essential, but fascinating none-the-less.
